Erin louise torres

Violist. Educator. Originisation.

Erin is a former participant of the Feldkircher Streichertage and after completing her artistic diploma studies at the Vorarlberger Landeskonservatorium in Feldkirch under Prof. Klaus Christa. She went on to continue her studies at Bern University of the Arts under Gertrud Weinnmeister. Erin’s previous experience comes from the cultural outreach work she did in her country, South Africa. She worked as orchestral manager for the University of Cape Town Symphony Orchestra in Cape Town. Additionally, she is passionate about working as a freelance violist and plays in many projects in the region and Switzerland.

Dedicated, full of energy, connected, and always ready for a task, Erin is committed to ensuring the smooth sailing of the Feldkircher Streichertage. She also enjoys tending to our social media feeds.
